Cambridge Geek Nights

Next event: to be announced, but probably mid-October in The Maypole (again).

Well, that was fun

The last Cambridge Geek Night was held on 9th September in The Maypole; Neil Crosby talked about mashing data with Yahoo! Pipes, and Richard Pope told us about his guerilla efforts to liberate the postcode at ErnestMarples.com. Many thanks to our speakers, to our anonymous bar tab sponsor, and of course to everyone who turned up.

Hold on… what are Cambridge Geek Nights?

Cambridge Geek Nights are pseudo-regular get-togethers of geeks from in and around the Cambridge area. We meet up, discuss all things tech, have a couple of drinks, and generally geek out of an evening.

The idea for the event is based directly on the wildly successful Oxford Geek Nights, so many thanks for them for letting us shamelessly pilfer use the idea.

Sounds great: when’s the next one?

Well, we haven’t yet picked a date, but expect the next event to be at some point in October. When we’ve picked a date, we’ll be sure to announce it here.
