Next event: Tuesday 3rd August at 7:30 at the Cambridge Union (on Bridge Street).
So, it’s finally official: the next Cambridge Geek Night will be
held on Tuesday 3rd August at the Cambridge
Union Society building. The talks are starting at 7:30, but feel
free to start drinking congregating from 7:00.
Our two main speakers for the evening will be Martin Lucas-Smith from CycleStreets, and Nathan Mathias. You can find more details on our blog.
Cambridge Geek Nights are get-togethers of geeks from in and around the Cambridge area. We meet up every couple of months1, discuss all things tech, have a couple of drinks, and generally geek out of an evening.
The idea for the event is based directly on the wildly successful
Oxford Geek Nights, so many
thanks for them for letting us shamelessly pilfer
use the idea.
Well, for a start you can check out our blog for updates on what we’re doing and when, or you can follow @camgeeknights on Twitter.
If you’ve got any particular questions about Cambridge Geek Nights, or if you’d like us to pop you on the mailing list, please drop us an email.
